Finished Size
20 inches x 39 inches not including fringe.

Materials

  • Red Heart Super Saver Art. 300 by Coats & Clark or worsted yarn -- 15 oz. Lt. Sage #631
  • 12 oz. Aran #313
  • 10 oz. Monet Print #310 (variegated)
  • 8 oz. each Buff #334
  • Orchid #530 and Med. Purple #528
  • 7 oz. Frosty Green #661
  • 1 oz. Pale Yellow #322;
  • K hook or hook size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge
With four strands held together as one,
7 sc = 2 3/4 inches;
6 sc rows = 2 1/4 inches.

Basic Stitches
Ch, sl st, sc. See Crochet Basics for stitch illustrations.

Notes
Hold four strands of yarn together as one unless otherwise stated.
Each square on graph equals one sc.
Leaving 8-inch end at beginning and ending of rows, fasten off each color at end of each row

Rug
Row 1: With lt. sage, leaving 8-inch end (see Notes), ch 101, sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across. Leaving 8-inch end, fasten off. (100 sc made)
Rows 2-53: Join with sc in first st, sc in each st across changing colors according to graph. Fasten off.
For fringe, cut two strands lt. sage each 16 inches long. With both strands held together, fold in half, insert hook in end of row, draw fold through, draw all loose ends through fold including 8-inch ends, tighten. Trim.
