Materials

• Size 10 crochet cotton:
  100 yds lavender
• Size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook

Bookmark
Rnd 1: Ch 5, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 1, 10 sc in ring, join with sl st in beg sc. (10 sc)
Row 2: Now working in rows, ch 4 (counts as first tr), 2 tr in same sc as joining, 4 tr in next sc, 3 tr in next sc, leave rem sc unworked, turn. (10 tr)
Row 3: Ch 5 (counts as first tr and ch-1), dc in next tr, [ch 1, dc in next tr] 9 times, turn. (10 dc, 9 ch-1 sps)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc in first ch-1 sp, [ch 4, sc in next ch-1 sp] across, turn.
Rows 5-10: Ch 1, sc in first ch sp, [ch 4, sc in next ch sp] across, turn. (2 ch-4 sps at end of Row 10)
Row 11: Ch 5, sc in first ch sp, ch 5, sc in next ch sp, turn.
Row 12: (Sl st, ch 4, 9 tr) in first ch sp, leave last ch sp unworked, turn.
Next rows: Rep rows 3-12.
Next rows: Rep rows 3-11.
Next row: (Sl st, ch 5, {tr, ch 1} 4 times, tr) in first ch sp, leave last ch sp unworked, turn.
Last row: [Ch 3, sc in next ch sp] across, ch 3, sl st in first tr. Fasten off.

For tassel, cut 7 strands each 9 1/2 inches in length. Holding all strands tog, fold in half, pull fold through center ch sp of last row, pull ends through fold and pull to tighten. Trim ends.
